I am a sociologist whose research examines inequality, resilience, and community life across a range of social contexts. My work sits at the intersections of environmental sociology, race, gender, class, and culture, with particular attention to how social institutions, identities, and systems of power shape lived experiences and community outcomes.
Drawing on mixed-methodologies and community-engaged approaches, I explore questions related to environmental justice, public health, Black feminist thought, and social inequality.
